What?

The "Vortex Client" is a desktop application providing users with a library of blockchain games to download and play.

Why?

In its current state, blockchain games have four significant problems:

• Lack of trust: Users are hesitant to trust newer titles as malicious downloads could cause substantial financial losses.

• High barriers to entry: Users are overwhelmed by the complexity of wallet management and the logistics of using blockchains.

• Ease of access: Users need help finding, comparing, and getting started with playing with new titles.

• Missing out on interoperability: Blockchain games have yet to reach the level of interoperability users expect from a gaming ecosystem.

How?

The Vortex Client is a trustworthy third party between games and players. Users can safely search, browse, download, and play audited games without worrying about downloading malicious code. It is a platform for gamers to find new titles, compare games, and connect with other players, all in one platform.

We aim to be the central hub of games and gamers alike, providing game developers and founders with a way to connect with each other, with us, and with the gaming world at large. This unified platform will help smaller titles get recognized and find an audience.
